Midnight Pacific Studio | Make bling your thing by joining this jewelry design shop for one of its workshops, like intro to stone setting and handmade chain earrings.

Assembly: Gather + Create | Take home the supplies and tune in to the online instruction to learn crafts like block printing and pressed flower collage.

📸 Get a new hobby

Portland Urban Beekeepers | This organization of apiarists’ Bee School 2023 may be halfway through, but there’s still time to catch up thanks to recordings of the two previous classes before the upcoming sessions in April and May.

Nordic Northwest | The cultural center hosts various classes throughout the year focused on traditions of Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and Iceland. Learn to speak a new language, artistic paper cutting, or knitting.

Multnomah Arts Center | Resources from the 2020 Parks Levy enable “pay what you can” options, making these programs accessible to all. Subject matter ranges from photography to music and even woodworking.

💪 Get active

Portland City Boxing | Embrace your inner “Eye of the Tiger” and spend some time pummeling the punching bag. Options include kickboxing, conditioning, HIIT, and more.

Movement | Climb to new heights with direction from the knowledgeable team of coaches.

Portland Petanque Club | Pronounced “puh-taangk,” this French cousin of bocce ball is played at the north end of Westmoreland Park by a group that always welcomes newbies for free lessons.

🍳 Get cooking

To avoid overcomplicating this recipe, here are five places to sharpen your skills in the kitchen.
