The Ruins in Hood River provides in-house bar and beverage services.
Key features: Voted “Best Urban Space Outside Portland” by Oregon Bride Magazine, The Ruins offers a unique setting surrounded by the remains of a historic fruit cannery within walking distance of hotels and restaurants.
Key features: There are four outdoor spaces to choose from — the iconic Stevens Pavilion, the small-but-stunning Redwood Deck, the spacious and partially shaded Wedding Meadow, and the quiet, forested Stone Circle.
The Evergreen is fully ADA accessible thanks to a full-sized elevator that services all four floors.
Key features: Rentals include the option of adding Loyal Legion for cocktail service or a full building buyout, which would boost the total seated dining capacity by 200.

Applications are open for volunteers interested in helping the Portland Bureau of Transportation with its 2023 Summer Bicycle Counts. Now through Sept. 28, the city is collecting crucial information on the use of bikes, e-scooters, and skateboards at 300+ locations. The data will help shape future investments and infrastructure.

REI will open a new location at Clackamas Town Center where co-op members can buy used outdoor gear and clothing. The store — REI Re/Supply Clackamas — will open in late August near the company’s existing outlet in the mall. (KPTV)

Downtown Portland’s Ritz-Carlton tower has signed its first office tenant. The Davis Wright Tremaine law firm will lease 19,100 sqft in the new Block 216 building, which is set to open Tuesday, Aug. 15. Theater
“Sounds of Afrolitical Movement” explores the different forms of “protest” with a series of immersive performances running through Sunday, June 18, at Portland Playhouse in the King neighborhood. Cast members personify the past, present, and future struggle for liberation by showcasing the music and movements of the African diaspora. (OPB)

The 1975 will bring their “Still… at their very best” tour to Portland this winter. Sign up for the presale which starts at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 21, or get tickets when general sales open Friday, June 23. The band plays Friday, Dec. 1, at the Moda Center.
