Multnomah County will vote on a new name for the Sauvie Island Bridge on Thursday, Nov. 30, after consulting with three Native American tribes that have ancestral ties to the area. Tribal linguists will contribute their expertise to ensure the name is spelled and pronounced accurately. (KOIN)
