The summer is off to a great start for fried chicken fans. The intensely popular Phillippines-based fast casual joint Jollibee opens its first Oregon restaurant tomorrow, May 30. Located inside Hillsboro’s Tanasbourne Village, the new location is one of just a handful to open in the PNW since 2023. (KGW)

The Oregon Shakespeare Festival released a line-up of 10 performances that will make up its 91st season in 2026. “Taming of the Shrew” and “Henry IV, Part One” are both on the docket, as well as other non-Shakespeare works like Lorraine Hansberry’s “A Raisin in the Sun” and Kate Hamill’s “Emma.” (The Oregonian)

Some goats that were kid-napped from Orchards Feed Store have been safely brought baaaack to their home. The store owners said that the goats were spotted on the side of the road by someone and then were returned by Vancouver police.
