Rose City may be one step closer to having a pro baseball team. A bill setting aside $800 million for the construction of a new stadium — if the MLB decides to expand to Portland — was approved by the Oregon House this week and is now headed to the governor’s desk. (KGW 8)

Berlu Bakery is slated to reopen this month in a new space around the corner from its former brick-and-mortar off Belmont. Fans of the bakery’s famous bánh bò nướng will be able to try vegan, coffee, pandan, and “avocado toast-ified” versions of the treat. (Portland Monthly)
