Portland Mercado food cart pod reopened on Friday, Jan. 26 for takeout only after being closed for three weeks due to “extensive damage” caused by a fire. While Mercado’s indoor space — home to Xŏcotl, Barrio, and an incubator kitchen — is still closed, food carts are resuming business. (Eater Portland)

Lloyd EcoDistrict and SOLVE are hosting a Peace Memorial Park cleanup on Thursday, Feb. 1 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Advanced registration is required and volunteers will help with graffiti removal, picking up trash, and general “sprucing up.” Free coffee and snacks will be provided.

Advertising agency Kamp Grizzly is hosting an opening reception for “Dame Was Here,” an art gallery commemorating former Trail Blazer Damian Lillard’s time on the team, today from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event is free to attend and Kamp Grizzly will keep the show open to the public for two weeks.
