The Portland Trail Blazers are trailblazing with unique tech that enables fans who are blind and have low vision to follow the game.
Paralympic athlete and content creator Anthony Ferraro recently showed off tech from Seattle-based startup OneCourt. The haptic display board works by using tactile vibrations that let the user follow the ball across the court, while audio keeps them updated on the score.
How to get set up with a OneCourt device
Trail Blazer fans can pick up their OneCourt tablets at the Moda Center for free.
Pick up your device from a Guest Information Booth at entries A7, A23, or C33.
At your seat, plug the headphones into the board and follow the audio instructions.
Forgot to reserve a device ahead of time? No worries — the venue leaves two available upon request on game day. More info is available online.
