Ventura Park will once again be the location of the East Portland Summer Arts Festival.
The two-day event in early July is organized by Portland Parks & Recreation as part of the city’s inclusive, low-barrier Summer Free For All program. This year’s theme — “Celebrating Black Excellence” — will be woven throughout the festival’s lineup of events taking place 4-8:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 8 and Sunday, July 9.
All community members are welcome to stop by and enjoy multicultural music and dance performances, as well as live karaoke.

- “Be Your Own Superhero” art activities involving building capes, shields, and helmets
Sunday, July 9

- Headline performance by PJ Morton — the multiple Grammy Award-winning keyboardist for Maroon 5 — at 6 p.m.
