Sneakerheads, scrub your soles and arrange the laces just so — Sneaker Week PDX is about to knock your socks off.
The eighth annual celebration of sneaker culture kicks off this Friday, July 26 with three days of special activities. For the first time in the event’s history, the three-day festival (dubbed “K.I.C. Off”) will be held downtown in Pioneer Courthouse Square with daily themes, a customization station, and happy hours featuring local beers, wines, and spirits. One-day passes are $35.
- Knowledge Day (Friday, July 26) — Workshops, panel discussions, and presentations by industry experts
- Innovation Day (Saturday, July 27) — Product launches, tech demonstrations, and interactive exhibits
- Culture Day (Sunday, July 28) — Live performances, art installations, fashion shows, and displays
Sneaker Week is billed as a collection of experiences where sneaker enthusiasts, industry influencers, and aspiring creatives can brush shoulders with footwear industry leaders in “the sneaker capital of the world.” It runs through Thursday, Aug. 1.
