But, if you’re interested in learning CPR and other first-aid skills in a more official capacity, here are some classes to check out around Portland.

Red Cross
This organization offers CPR, first-aid, and AED (automated external defibrillator) classes at a wide-range of times and locations, with online options ($37) available as well.

The American Heart Association
Whether you need to renew your certification or are learning BLS (basic life support) for the first time, you can join lessons at in-person classrooms, or through a combination of hands-on training and self-directed instruction materials.
