Throughout the month of November, the Portland Japanese Garden and Lan Su Chinese Garden are combining their membership programs, allowing members of either location to access both gardens to view the colorful, vibrant sights of their fall foliage.

The Japanese Garden posts continual updates on its website tracking the fall colors as the season changes and offers several events this month to fully immerse yourself, like the Cultural Demonstration: Tea Ceremony held today from 1:15 to 2:15 p.m. and is included in garden admission. Membership at this garden costs $50-$600.

For a more interactive visit, the Lan Su Chinese Garden offers a series of garden audio tours, scavenger hunts, photo challenges, and trivia — just be sure to review its garden etiquette before going. Memberships here start at $20.
