Pride is a summer-long celebration in Portland

From concerts to parades, Pride brings three months of festivities to Portland in 2024.

Pride is here in Portland, and whether you’re living out as your true self or standing as an ally, there are plenty of opportunities in June, July, and August to celebrate the occasion — so get out your calendar.

Ye Old Gay Faire | Saturday, June 1 | 10 a.m.-4 p.m. | Wonderwood Springs, 8811 N. Lombard St. | Free | Year two of this event brings 30+ queer vendors, face painting, fairy hair, a visit from a unicorn, craft tables, live opera, and plenty of Mike Bennett magic sprinkled in.

Flame: Pride Month Kick Off Dance Party | Saturday, June 1 | 8 p.m.-12 a.m. | Kenton Club, 2025 N. Kilpatrick St. | $10-$20 | DJ Action Slacks and friends will be spinning vintage movers and groovers on vinyl records from the 1950s to 1970s.

Pride Ride | Monday, June 3 | 4 p.m. | Director Park, 815 SW Park Ave. | Free | Get Pedalpalooza and Pride rolling with this 1.5-mile, family-friendly parade through downtown.

Pride Block Party | Saturday, June 8 | 12-7 p.m. | Dandelion Teahouse & Apothecary, 109 W. Seventh St., Vancouver | Free | Head over the river to enjoy an array of activities, from axe throwing and tarot readings to shopping and donating blood.

Portland Gay Prides Pageant | Sunday, June 9 | 4-8 p.m. | The Melody Event Center, 615 SE Alder St. | $15-$75 | This event shines a spotlight on the passion, artistry, and talent of our local drag community; this year’s them is “A Recipe for Success.”
