Climb to the top of Oregon’s tallest waterfull? Check.

For most Portlanders, staring up in wonder at Multnomah Falls is a familiar experience, but have you ever wondered what that 620-ft drop looks like from the top? Well, hiking 2.4 miles round trip + 870 ft of elevation will get you there.

On average, 150 cubic feet of water flows over the ledge every second — that’s like pouring 934 gallons of milk out at the same time. The more it’s roaring, the better, as ample precipitation is needed to help our wildlands recover from forest fires .
