Tequila, triple sec, lime juice. Enjoying a margarita is one of life’s simplest pleasures, and on Feb. 22 we get an entire day devoted to it — National Margarita Day is here.

Here are some of our picks in Portland.

Todo , 1935 SE Hawthorne Blvd.
All day long you can enjoy $7 margaritas in a variety of flavors, from classic to strawberry, prickly pear, mango, and passionfruit.

Tope , 15 NW Fourth Ave.
Look for a break in the rain and head to The Hoxton’s rooftop bar/restaurant — if it’s chilly, the spicy margarita (with Ancho Reyes chili liqueur) will warm you up. The PNW margarita is also a tasty marionberry version.

Blank Slate , 7201 NE Glisan St., Ste. C
Have a happier hour with $9 agave margs at this trendy Montavilla spot.

Matador , 1438 NW 23rd Ave.
Does a pineapple-habanero margarita tickle your fancy? It’s yours for $11.50.
