Musio Chavez dreams of mullet stardom

We’ve mulled it over, and decided that the hair you see above can only be described one way — glorious.

Born and raised in Woodburn, Musio Chavez, 33, recently passed the state bar and is awaiting his lawyer license. In the interim, he’s been working as a security guard and, if you haven’t noticed, growing out his hair (it’s a classic business-in-the-front, party-in-the-back situation).

His ‘do (inspired by the athletes he idolized as a kid) has taken him all the way to the top 100 of the USA Mullet Championships — a reported best for any Oregonian.

And when voting closed last night, the support of his hometown and beyond (via more than 1,500 Facebook votes) pushed Musio onto the third round and last 25 mullets. You heard it hair first folks.
