Painted doorway — or mesmerizing gateway to a psychedelic dimension? Portland-based muralist Lawson Buemio recently transformed the front doors at the Morrison Street Apartments with colorful, spiraling calligraphy to complement the building’s Art Deco style.
Lawson’s work was supported by Portland Street Art Alliance, a nonprofit organization providing access to resources, networking + professional development opportunities for local street artists, while simultaneously enriching public spaces for all to enjoy.
