Pioneer Courthouse Square earned some serious chill points when it trucked in real snow for a random August day in 1994. Skiers clad in t-shirts and shorts enjoyed the mid-summer cool down, while onlookers witnessed yet another event that further cemented Portland’s status as one of the quirkiest towns around.
