When life gives you lemons, you can use them to make lemonade. Similarly, when life gives you invasive plants like English ivy or Himalayan blackberry, you can transform them into useful, beautiful baskets — with the help of knowledgeable crafters like those at WildCraft Studio School in Southeast Portland.

WildCraft holds workshops for adults who are interested in traditional crafts, textiles, Native American arts + foraging. Students learn to upholster furniture, carve wooden spoons, sculpt paper flowers, repair damaged ceramics using ancient Japanese methods, and much more.
