Taking the road less traveled will often lead you to many places you never knew existed. Such is the case with a vibrant art gallery + gift shop tucked off the beaten path in Oregon City.

One Lane Road (13801 Forsythe Rd.) can be found by following — you guessed it — a one-lane road over a set of railroad tracks to the backside of a plumbing shop that sits a stone’s throw from I-205. Owner Becky Dawson opened the space in June after testing the waters with a temporary self-serve roadside gift stand (which was a hit). She decked out her new shop with shelving, string lights + whimsical paintings — like the giant blue Bigfoot outside of the garage.

You’ll find everything from original greeting cards and sculptures, to jewelry and cross-stitch kits. The shop’s next open weekends are Sat., Sept. 24-Sun., Sept. 25 and Sat., Oct. 8-Sun., Oct. 9, or you can shop online anytime.
