We’ve mulled it over, and decided that the hair you see above can only be described one way — glorious.

Born and raised in Woodburn, Musio Chavez, 33, recently passed the state bar and is awaiting his lawyer license. In the interim, he’s been working as a security guard and, if you haven’t noticed, growing out his hair (it’s a classic business-in-the-front, party-in-the-back situation).

His ‘do (inspired by the athletes he idolized as a kid) has taken him all the way to the top 100 of the USA Mullet Championships — a reported best for any Oregonian.

And when voting closed last night, the support of his hometown and beyond (via more than 1,500 Facebook votes ) pushed Musio onto the third round and last 25 mullets. You heard it hair first folks.
