Things are about to get bazaar in Old Town. The Portland Saturday Market, widely considered the largest continually operating arts and crafts fair in the US, is set to return on Sat., March 5 for its 48th year. Booths from 150 vendors draw roughly 750,000 visitors each season, and soon Tom McCall Waterfront Park will be bustling with shoppers once again.

Whether you’re a seasoned vet or new to the city, here are some key things to know before you go.

🗓️ When: Every Saturday (rain or shine), 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

📍 Where: 2 SW Naito Pkwy.

🚃 How to get there: Minimal street parking is available + the Skidmore Fountain MAX Station is nearby. Pro tip: If you spend $25 or more at the market, you can park for free at the Naito + Davis SmartPark garage.

🖼️ What’s for sale: Art in a diverse range of media, home decor, clothing, food and beverages — everything is made by hand by small business owners from Oregon and Washington. A map of vendor locations can be found here, and the market now offers an online storefront too.

😷 COVID-19 precautions: Staff, vendors, and security are all required to wear face coverings (as guests are encouraged to do). Hand sanitizer is available at every entrance and booth. Also, the total number of vendors has been reduced, allowing increased spacing between booths.
