Sometimes it can feel like you’re waging war against the dandelions in your yard. To help in that familiar fight, Colorado-based RAWtools is turning guns into garden tools on its mission to “disarm hearts and forge peace.”

The Swords to Plowshares program is carried out locally at Portland Mennonite Church, where trained volunteers offer a legal way to decommission firearms , turning them into trowels, picks, hoes, as well as works of art.
